Hey Matt – LOVE this site!
I am right about to pull the trigger on a VST, however have been doing a lot of looking around about whether there is any benefit to saving some $$ and going with the PAL-Coffee (Atago) which is about half the price. I understand there is more calculations involved, however as a small start-up roaster with limited dinero’s… would love to hear some opinion. If the believe is that you can’t skimp out on the refractometer, I’m ready to drop the bucks!
